Didn’t see this coming. Just a few months after winning a natty.
Agreed. And he was doing it in Corvallis of all places. You just don’t see people retiring on top like this. I mean he literally just won a title with a very dominant team. The guy won 3 national titles with Oregon state. 3 national titles. That is an exhausting career.

Yeah, but it's nice sometimes to see coaches leave while at the top. Other than over staying their time when it is clear they need to step away, but who is going to suggest it to a coach who brought so much success? That isn't Casey by any means, but many coaches fall into this.Agreed. And he was doing it in Corvallis of all places. You just don’t see people retiring on top like this. Was that in 2006?shoulda won four.
Was that in 2006?
I am wondering what year you think they should have won their 4th? Was it 2006? Because didn't they repeat 07-08? or was it 06-07?pat casey won 25% of the nattys in baseball since 2006.
OUTFUCKINGSTANDING!
what year you think they should have won their 4th?
Ah yeah, I thought they also got beat by UNC once early on around the time of their repeat.year before last year's natty OD. it was a better team in my opinion…LSU caught em off guard. Beavers that year were another 50+ win club.

that is what it sounds like anyways. I just wonder if he goes to a bigger program, or if he goes to some small beach school where he can just relax and coach baseball with zero expectations, in really nice weather.i wish me Beavz had had a chance to play the Florida Gators in a natty final…would have been a beaut…both clubs are top5 P5 baseball schools.
never happened for me or gator fans…HCs for both teams are great.
i would not say this is the last time i will ever see pat casey stalking a dugout somewhere.
if he goes to a bigger program
