If there’s any good news, it’s that Arians also confirmed that there is no damage to Palmer’s knee other than the torn ACL. Palmer will likely be ready to go for the start of next season, but this season is done.

Glad he'll be ready for the start of next year at least. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise... his nerve injury gets time to fully recover now. If he kept playing and aggravated it his career would likely be over.

Man, this sucks. Y'all were having a great year. Still could, don't get me wrong.

I only saw a quick replay, was his leg hit or was it just a freak "cleats dug in and stars aligned" type thing. The replay I saw didn't look like it was much that tore it. Hopefully they repair it stronger than before.

It was basically a non-contact injury. A defender went flying past him just as he planted his leg to move up in the pocket. He went down immediately while barely being touched by the defender grabbing & releasing part of his jersey near his shoulder pads.

The good news is that he should be ready to go when the 2015 season starts.

If Brad Johnson & Trent Dilfer can lead teams to a SB win, Drew Stanton can do it as well

Sorry about Palmer. I hope the Cardinals will make the right decision regarding his future. I know he signed a huge contract, is their a back out option? Rather or not, I hope Palmer recovers and is ready to go week 1 in 2015. Good luck the rest of the season.
