OT: so how hard is it to win the cup?

IMO it's the hardest championship to win in sports. At the same time, hockey is my favorite sport so I'll admit I'm bias.

Up until this year it was the only championship that took 16 wins in 4 series to win it. The NBA started the 4 series of 4 out of 7 this year. Basketball however is nowhere near as physically challenging as NHL hockey in my estimation.

I would call that a sub category, you can finish a season of horse racing without a triple crown winner unlike the Stanley cup.....
