Not really a surprise at all...David Poile (GM) has worked with Laviolette extensively with Team USA.

Laviolette is also good with younger players. It's the veterans he seems to have an issue with, so he should be a good transitional head coach.

The Predators are the 6th youngest team in the league, 26.64 years old (love the decimals in those stats - .64? Really?).
