So will yall only lose by 20 now?
I don't have any idea. Years in which I think we're going to get blown out, we almost win the game, and years where I'm sure we stand a chance, we get blown out. Michigan might actually be the better team next year since we return pretty much everyone outside of Rudock.

Each year my dad is flabbergasted by Ohio State's ability to remain elite despite losing so many players to the NFL. One of his favorite sports topics to discuss.

Michigan State is the top B1G program right now. Theyve won 2 of the last 3 B1G titles.

Matter of fact tOSU has only won 1 B1G title in the last 6 seasons. I guess that 1 year was a fluke.

You are in no way mistaken, sir. It would appear OSUx has moved onto browner pastures.

This year looks to be a bit unusual. Rarely to teams have 9+ players leave early for the draft, on top of seniors that you're already losing. OSU is basically going to have no experienced senior class next year.

LOL @ the Big Ten. Ohio State had a few minutes of glory but I can't even remember when that was. Was it last year? :L

Just when you think it is over, they are right back to where they are. There might be some growing pains early, but Urban and Saban are the best at reloading and coming back the next season just as strong. The talent is there no doubt.

Too bad Urban is horrified of winning.

Which may be a good thing for 2016-2017. It's likely that after next year, we'll lose Raekwon, and possibly Hubbard, Barrett and Samuel, depending on how well they play. Otherwise, it's unlikely we lose anyone else (outside of seniors, of which there's basically one - Elflein). Ohio State has already proven it can win the whole thing with underclassmen talent. What we're likely looking at next year -

QB - Barrett (RS JR)
RB - Curtis Samuel (JR)
RB - Mike Weber (RS FR)
H-back - Demario McCall (FR) or Dontre Wilson (SR)
WR - Paris Campbell (Soph)/Torrance Gibson (RS FR)
WR - Noah Brown (RS Soph)/Austin Mack (FR)
TE - Marcus Baugh (RS JR)
LT - Jamarco Jones (RS Soph)
LG - Billy Price (JR)
C - Pat Elflein (SR)
RG - Matthew Burrell (RS FR)
RT - Isaiah Prince (Soph)

DE - Tyquan Lewis (JR)
DE - Sam Hubbard (JR)
DT - Michael Hill (JR)
DT - Tracy Sprinkle (RS JR)
OLB - Jerome Baker (Soph)
MLB - Raekwon McMillan (JR)
OLB - Dante Booker (JR)
CB - Gareon Conley (JR)
CB - Damon Webb (JR)
S - Malik Hooker (Soph)
S - Erick Smith (JR)

Of course, we'll rotate in plenty of others, including several FR/RS FR/Soph that I didn't list. The good thing is that we have talent for days pretty much across the board, basically like 2014.

If I had to coach at that shithole in Gainesville, those would be my sentiments as well.

When you put it this way, it's pretty crazy. How many times has a coach lost 1 regular season conference game in a 4 year span with only 1 conference title to show for it?

Could be 5 first rounders in that group. Not sure what Marshall is thinking though.

Marshall and Apple should have stayed. 1 more year is gonna do nothing but help their draft stock.

Barring major injury, 4 are locks - Bosa, Decker, Elliott and Thomas. Washington and Lee are right on the border and could definitely be, as well. They both have first round talent. Bell is likely a 2nd rounder. Marshall, Apple and Braxton are probably 3-4th rounders. I have no idea what Powell was thinking.

I think Lee is a lock for 1st round too and Bell is apparently on the verge. Can't fault the guys for going when they are first round projected, in fact I'd question their decision making if they didn't go in that case.

It happens. Just gotta reload. Gonna be some serious learning to be done next season.
