• Rockets center Omer Asik has requested a trade, according to a report in the Houston Chronicle. Asik played just four minutes in the team's loss to the 76ers on Wednesday. While the Rockets aren't looking to deal Asik at the moment, multiple sources said the Raptors are one team that's already highly interested.

I'm not sure if the Raptors are really in need of a guy like that - Amir, JV and Psycho T seem to be pretty good together right now

I'm surprised at the news too. Asik wants to be the starting C and since we already have Vajayjay, I don't know how he would fit into the starting lineup picture. The only way this would work is if Omer was the primary backup C with Hansbrough, which would make our bench a lot better. But, I doubt he would want that role.
