My money is on them running the ball frequently and often to setup the passing routes.

Urban is smart and the film of our last 4 games doesn't lie. He knows th DB corps are much improved. On defense he's gonna bring pressure often because he knows Baker will get surgical with enough time. Good thing we kept Badet under wraps that first game. Didn't use Kyler in the Gatling Set either...maybe I've said too much? I'll just be quiet now.... ;)

What would any offensive coordinator do with a million dollars?

Two qb's at the same time.

Shhhhh......

They kept pretty much everything under wraps.

I think Ohio State did the same thing, at least it looked like it the way they played.

I think they just wanted people to think they struggled with INDIANA.

They had to open up more playbook than they wanted. Had to show the zone read with dobbins followed by the play action on dual crossing routes. They couldn't move the ball on IU defense without it. Now Oklahoma knows that. Also had to show what coverage thy use to handle our bigger receivers. They wanted to see if they could play man, but they couldn't.

I dont think you'll see much man coverage from them against us. The improved OL and work we'll get from H-back and TEs would open up running lanes for Baker. iMO.

Should we go ahead and tag this as the "Game Thread" or create a new one on Saturday??.
I would love to piss everyone off for being early.
But that's just me.

Any truth to the rumor that OU lost a starting CB (Parker) for the year? That sucks (if true).

Does anyone really think a rook coach is going to come into Columbus and sneak off with a W. With Stoops at DC.

I agree with this. Ohio State tried to stay completely vanilla and realized Indiana wasn't the complete crap team they usually are and had to open it up a bit. On the flip side, they got some valuable game time experience with the playbook and were faced with some adversity. Sometimes I think this is just as important.

Smart money says no. Never thought Michigan State would take us down in 15 without Cook either, tho.

Yes we lost him and no he wasn't the starter.

Not a starter. He was Motley's backup.

Nobody thought a Trevor Knight lead Oklahoma team would go balls deep in Bama either, but it happened. Riley can pull it off, but I think a courageous loss is more likely.
