As of right now I am 100% interested in a trade back....gain another decent pick toward the end of rd 1 and I would draft Breshad Perriman UCF that is our #1 WR by next year, that is Terrell Owens Part 2. I would love to snag someones 2nd rd pick or a 3rd and 4th rd picks to drop back maybe 7 or 8 spots in rd 1. Thoughts?

Rd 2 I think we have to look O-line ....I love Laken Tomlinson, and Both Fla St guys Tre Jackson Cameron Erving

Rd 3 I'm thinking Safety here Jaquiski Tartt Samford is a sleeper I like, Damarious Randall and Derron Smith are two other solid safeties.

let's start with the first 3 rds....thoughts

I'm totally okay with trading back, depending on who is still available. If a top OT/OG, WR, or CB falls to us, then we gotta jump on it.

I go BPA at our pick out of OT/OG, WR or S. Just take the best guy left from those three spots. If Mariota falls, take him. I repeat this for the first three rounds, then go BPA from there.

I joked earlier about going OT/OG...but now I'm starting to think this is the way to go. I honestly think OT first. A lot of folks are mentioning Fisher, using him in the Herremans inside/outside role...but I'd feel better drafting a true OT. Somebody to eventually (and maybe sooner than that) replace Peters.

Here is what I think will happen.

20 - Jake Fisher OT/OG Oregon- He simply fits exactly what Chip wants. He plays guard for a year and then goes to Right Tackle with Johnson moving to left tackle. Jason Peters will be gone after this year

52 - Hroniss Grasu C/OF Oregon - Plug and play at Guard after Mathis trade

84 - IFO Ekpre-Olomu CB Oregon - Coming of ACL doesnt concern chip,1st round talent

110 - Damarious Randall FS ARizona St - Recruited by Chip.

I think Jake Fisher at 20 or Jaelen Strong seem like very likely possibilities right now.

The three pressing areas of need now are WR, S and OL, probably in that order.

Jake Fisher had a great pro day and probably will sneak into the first now. He has that versatility and athleticism Chip likes, can play all over the line, etc.

Really looking at Jake Fisher at 20. We need more youth and talent on the Oline. Might have to move up? Olinemen always go earlier than most internet draft people think this time of year.

And corner is still a high priority.

I really wish these safeties were better.

Also I would love to add another beast to the Dline and really put together a defense that can flat out stop anyone. Eddie Goldman at 20?

That is way too high for Fisher. should be there with our pick in rd 2.

Nobody likes Breshad Perriman? Kids unreal.

He's intriguing, but I dunno. If he's really all that he'll creep up into the top 40 picks I think and separate from that tier 3 group of relatively interchangeable WRs.

Yes he should be but remember Chip seems to want to taka Oregon guys earlier than he should. I do believe the stories of wanting Hart in round 3 instead of 5 etc.

The biggest thing with Fisher is he is a day one starter at guard. I think he profiles to a right tackle eventually.Really fits what they want to do here

Had we not traded for Bradford and used the extra 11 million for a S/OG and another upper tier CB I would of went up and got Marriota.

I'd also look at DGB in the 3rd if he lasts that long. He's a high risk high reward kind of guy. Not sure that's the kind of risk Kelly want's to take.

Also, the CB from Washington (brainfart on his name right now). Thurmonds only signed for one year.
