Off days

Am I the only one who gets frustrated with how many off days there in MLB?

The M's have 8 off days over the next 2 months. That doesn't seem like very many to me, especially with all of the traveling.

But yeah, I get antsy without games, too.

I get antsy as well. Especially when its a day game, off day then a night game. Feels like more than one day off.

Off days suck, I always look forward to the next game.

Watching the games or listening to the games becomes part of a routine for me during baseball season so the off days throw it off somewhat.

To me, the off days are way too much as it pushes baseball into November. As well as they had a getaway game against the Rangers and they had an off day the next day.

I guess I miss what the older generation talk about is the only reason there was an off day was taking a day off because the team had a double header on Saturday or Sunday.

Working during the latter part of the day when the games usually happen helps distract me from off days, but if we're competitive this year, it's gonna be even harder to not think about what's going on while I'm busy trying to pay bills.

Personally, I think the off days do the team a favor. You can't suck in games you're not playing.
