Mets push back deGrom start; Harvey gets nod

Mets shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera joined a bevy of teammates on the sidelines. He's dealing with a hamstring issue and will sit on Friday, but could be used to pinch hit. The Mets are without usual starters Travis D'Arnaud, Yoenis Cespedes and Cabrera, along with DL-bound Wilmer Flores and Lucas Duda for their first meeting with the Nationals.

The injury-bugged Mets placed Wilmer Flores (knee infection) and Lucas Duda (hyperextended elbow) on the disabled list and recalled infielder T.J. Rivera and lefthanded pitcher Sean Gilmartin from Las Vegas. Rivera is in the lineup tonight, playing 3rd base and batting 8th.
