Argh 10 hours but got through it.

Long ass day but the first 4 hours was the BIT course and the 2nd was HFS.

Some good stuff and I did learn more then I thought I would.

I would suggest.

Finished my first class yesterday. I was really nervous when I started but after about 10 mins my nerves calmed down. I had 10 students (I limited it to that for my sanity) and it really went well.

I called all students up one by one to get their cert and asked them to describe the class and just about everyone of them said it was awesome.

I put a lot of work into preparing it and I guess it showed. Plus I made a couple bucks on the side and got 10 more people to go apply for LTC.

It was really great teaching these people the do's and dont's and watching them apply them correctly.

Congrats man. The more knowledgeable firearm owners there are out there the better off we all are. You're doing a good service my friend.

Besides making a few bucks I 100% agree. I love sharing my passion for shooting with others. Getting them to so it safely is a plus. I grew up with the stuff so its no biggie to me.

You are correct. My goal is to do 10-20 people a month and arm them all. If I do my job as a instructor then all should be safe gun owners.

In the end if I can get 100-120 a year people to see things the safe way the better we all are.

I actually use this video as a reminder that you can never be too safe. This guy is exactly the person who is ignorant of true gun safety.

Isn't that a DEA Agent who was talking to a community group or a bunch of HS kids?
Did someone hand him that gun and he didn't check himself that it was cleared?
Good grief...

As an instructor, I thought you might appreciate this.
