I already like this guy. As long as he keeps it above .500, we should be good. Lol.

I think the best way to sum up Lake's incredible performance is 'Puig who?' :)

His performance so far, just makes Soriano that much more tempting to trade. I think the brass is starting to get an itch to see what some of the young guys could do at the ML level. Trading Soriano would open a spot .

I just am happy to watch a cub game again. He is having fun, playing hard, running hard and waking up some of the sleep walking vets on the team. Remember what it was like before this became your job?

I dont expect him to keep at this torrid pace, but guys are writing novels saying why this guy is not gonna stick instead of just enjoying the show.

I think I read yesterday that he is the the only 2nd Cubs player ever to record 15 hits in his first 7 games. Which is also tied for the 3rd most by any player in the modern era

Yeah, since 1900, but the ANAL-lyticals are still tearing this kid apart. He didnt get three hits yesterday, but none of the millionaires figured out Wiley yesterday either. Chicago fans just want to have fun watching the enthusiasm, but the experts are already digging his grave. I hate some cub fans.
