No more flags on Finnegan???

Cortland Finnegan has apparently promised to draw no more personal foul penalties this season.

"I just can't do that. I've got it all out of my system." Said Finnegan. "We've got 15 more (games), you won't get another one out of me. You don't want to hurt the team. I did that today. I'm glad we got a win. You've just got to learn from that."

So... anybody buying it? :rollseyes:

He's a physical trash-talking combatant. He's made his reputation by being on the edge. I doubt he can be effective playing another way and I doubt opponents will let him given his history. He's a good CB but i've never considered him to be elite. There's not much that can be said or done to someone with a $14M guarantee. Occasional penalties are something we're going to have to live with. His contract requires the Rams to release him in February or guarantee the 1st $3M of his $9M 2014 contract. Releasing him will bring forward a $3M salary cap hit.

Larwwy ate Mr Finnegan's lunch all day long and the other WR got the best of him as well. Janoris Jenkins is quietly becoming a real technician and I am quite sure JJ has gotten bigger. He sure looked bigger on screen. What a bad-ass Defense Snead and Fisher are assembling. I love to watch when they are all clicking all cylinders. I get so pumped I want to go out into my garage and throw a few forearms into the wall.
