The Reds, San Diego and us didn't really have strong seasons versus the elite. The Braves are pretty good and the Phils are looking very good.

And we get the homefield vs. the Reds if we tie them in record. Nice.

91 wins and we're hosting the NLDS

I'm actually a little afraid of the Braves in their home ball park, but they have really hit a wall in the batting department.

Plus, if the Braves make it and we do as well, then we have to face the Phillies in the first round. I'd rather take our chances with the Phillies in a 7 game series if we both move on. That way, we would have the pitching advantage in the 4th game, with the first 3 going either way.

Nobody said this was going to be easy.

Actually, if the season ended right now, We would have the Braves in the first round. We are now the #2 seed in the NL...

It'll be interesting to see how the Phillies play out their last 3 games of the season against the Braves. Do they just not care who they play and rest a lot of the regulars? If they could make it so with a couple wins would they not want to face a certain team? My guess is the former more so than the latter, but it'll be interesting to me nonetheless. I just hope the Giants can sneak in here, because I have a sneaky suspicion the Braves are gonna to make it for sure.

Not true unless the Reds finish with a better record than us. If the season ends PHI #1, SF #2, CIN #3, and ATL #4, then we'd host the Braves in the first round and the Phils would host the Reds.
