NFL 24 Player Salary Draft Chat

NO EXCEPTIONS! IF YOU GO OVER THE CAP YOU WILL BE FORCED TO DROP THE HIGHEST COST PLAYER ON YOUR TEAM, IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE PLAYERS AT THE SAME SALARY THE FIRST ONE YOU DRAFTED WILL BE RELEASED.

We also will not have it be you can draft 2 DE's and 1 DT or 2 DE's and 2 DT's. We will do one way or the other for voting purposes we all will have the same positions.

I disagree with this because teams have different schemes and if you set it up that we can only draft 1 type of scheme then we will be eliminating some players. As long as everyone drafts the same amount of players then we should be fine. Hell I don't really care if someone wants to draft 24 QB's if they think they put the best team together to win a game. I say eliminate the position requirement and just say draft 24 players that stay under the $100 million cap rule. Just my opinion on this.

Everyone needs to have the same scheme, only like 2 people did a 3 - 4 in our last draft me and Shane I think. I don't think people will cry if we all draft the same positions and it only makes the voting process fair. IF one person does a 3 - 4 and they draft the best 2 OLB's of all time in a 3 - 4 that's a little advantage on the people drafting the 8th best OLB of all time for a 4 - 3 no?

You rank them just like you posted on HOF, All Decade, Pro Bowls, etc. It doesn't matter if I picked a NT and extra OLB because you will be drafting 2 DT. 2 players vs 2 players. Position doesn't matter because the cap is by the stats you listed. It's not like a DT has less pro bowlers then say a ILB.

Ps I also drafted a 3-4 defense last time.

You missed my point though, wouldn't it be advantageous to play a 3 - 4 knowing most won't because then you only need 1 DT and will select from 3 - 4 OLB's when most people will be taking 4 - 3 OLB's so you will be able to wait a little on them and still get the best ones cuz most will play a 4 - 3. Unless prior to the draft we have everyone declare what they will play and try to match it up 4 play 4 - 3 and 4 play 3 - 4 then it will work.

Sure you could have everyone declare their scheme but we are so deep with players since its all the years that we shouldn't have to worry about positions that much. I don't see the big advantage of people choosing the 3-4 scheme. More teams run the 4-3 so in fact its harder to find guys who played in a 3-4.

Nah cuz you got guys like LT and Derrick Thomas who are not only two of the best OLB linebackers of all time neither fit into a 4 - 3.

I think it's funny I've won multiple NBA and NFL drafts but never a MLB draft. Either i'm not as smart as I think I am when it comes to baseball or I need to stop drafting with my heart...

That's 20 drafts in less then 1.5 years I believe so it seems close. I think we missed maybe 2 draft winners but cant find out where.

It cuts off after the NBA salary cap. Oh well we now have our own forum to keep 100% accountability.

I think we need to spend some time getting some new people involved. Hopefully we can count on Smitty and Milk to be in this one. I can't even tell you how much i'd love to get to 16.
