Welp we held on. If the Lions make the playoffs and play like this, they will get smashed. No pash rush and awful pass protections. Need to improve in those two areas.

Yeah. They might be able to beat a Giants or Bucs at home. But that's where it ends. Just not enough talent. I'll enjoy the ride while it lasts this year, though. Fill a couple of holes and the next year or 2, maybe.

Bears getting the treatment from the refs usually reserved for the Lions. We were very lucky to win this.

The play calling left a lot to be desired thats for sure. Offense does not take a shot down the field enough and then inexplicably tries it on 2 and 4 at the 25 when we are marching down the field with ease. 2 bad play calls late took points off the board as well on the INT in the endzone.

Some of the personnel choices were head scratchers. How is waiver pickup out there ahead of both Bush and Killebrew? Zettel ahead of Hyder. Bad enough Ziggy is out there ahead of Hyder, but no way Zettel should be. Zettel should on be in rotating on 1st downs and 3rd and short. Thats it.

What kills me is they pretty much called a perfect game last week. I thought we were past this nonsense.

Yeah the refs did play a huge role today. But the only flat out bad call I saw was the hands to the face one that they called the wrong way on our center.

Barkley looked damn good today. They usually gave him a lot of time but even when they didn't he got it out quick and didn't make any real misfires.

It feels weird to type this, but I absolutely LOVE the way the kid has played these past 3 weeks. Tennessee was a win, if a 7 year old was our WR instead of Bellamy. Stand still, backyard pitch and catch without a defender near him for the win and he can't make the catch.


The next few weeks will tell the full tale, but I think he absolutely deserves to be brought back.

The difference between these two teams is minuscule, imo.

We're getting wins on account of Stafford playing really, really well. (That pick on the out route was not good. It was first seven years Staff.)
