I think Dallas should be favored being Dak is by far the better Qb in this division.
In fact how they have the odds is exactly how I would predict this division 1st-4th.
However I wouldnt be surprised if the Skins upset the cowboys for division championship. That defense is by far the best in the division & can make the difference. Fitz while I am sure will make some mistakes & turnovers from time to time. One thing he will do is keep that offense moving. he takes risks, where as the other QBs might keep an offense stale. Less turnovers but probably less points as well.
Definitely the division Champ will be between those two teams.
Giants will be 3rd & Eagles will have to re-evaluate their QB situation. Hurts wont be the answer.
Not only Dak returning, but they got rid of Nolanitis.
The 2019 Dallas D was top 10 statistically, and dropped horribly under Nolan. With Dak and a hopefully better D Dallas should be favorites. NY and WFT have good Ds, and Phillys biggest problem last season was turmoil. I think that turmoil is now gone so well see what they look like.

I would put the giants defense 2nd, but I dont think there is any mistake which is better between the two.
Fair enough. I'd give the 'skins the edge there too.

Here is my issue with Washington. They beat the Eagles twice, Dallas twice, Bengals, Niners, Steelers. Niners had a backup QB and generally most injured team in the NFL. I think Burrow got injured in the game against Washington. The game against the Steelers was kind of a miracle win for Washington with a lot of clutch plays. That second game the Eagles intentionally tanked. Dallas had Dalton. None of this translates into next year imo.

Being the best team in the NFC East is like being the skinniest kid at fat camp
Yeah, but those kids are dangerous as hell. Send a fat kid to fat camp and force him eat healthy all summer. Once he gets home he will kick the shit out of the neighborhood bully to get a candy bar.

But never forget.

When nobody else could keep Brady from trying to be a God ...the NFC East said, No!

The Eagles shed talent in order to comply with the 2020 salary cap. Next year may also be a tough year if they want to build up cap space for the next 10+ year 'down-the-road' cap overspend. (Perfectly legitimate tactic in my book). In that context trading Wentz and keying on talent for the future rather than a QB replacement makes sense. Washington has a question mark at QB and the Giants have multiple question marks. I'd expect the Cowboys to be a short-priced favourite for the division at this point because, on paper, their offense is more talented than their rivals' offensive or defensive units.

I have it Dallas, NY, WFT, Philly however any other order wont shock me. I also think each team is a little better than most are giving them credit for.
I think the NFC East division will be better than 2020. I got the teams ranked the same as you. I am not believing all the hype surrounding the WFT. And Dallas only wins the division if the defense improves, and I think it will.

Think there’s a lot of intrigue with every NFC East team, even some with a really bad Eagles team, the only thing that seems like a sure thing is they are a last place team

I’d have to make Dallas the favorite with Dak, but they still have a defense that will get steamrolled. They should have an offense that will overcome that defense and turn some losses into wins. Mike McCarthy being a brutal head coach also comes into play.

Washington still has a QB problem and a secondary that could be had. I see them involved in a lot of 16-13 games, but that typically doesn’t result in 11 win seasons

Giants are all about Daniel Jones, in which will be his last crack at remaining their guy for the foreseeable future. Oline is improved, and the weapons are a QBs dream. I think Judge and Rivera are the best coaches in the division, and they have a potentially top 5-7 defense.

Eagles are just bad, bad QB, broken defense, a coach no one thinks is anything special. Not much to like

WFT should win this division. The defense is actually better and Fitz is a huge upgrade at QB which is huge. He is way better than Jones and Hurts. Dallas are always over hyped paper champions so it doesn't surprise me that they are favorites in the eyes of the odds makers.

How is Fitz a QB problem when he should of carried the Dolphins to the playoffs last year? Plus we signed the best CB in FA. WFT offense will be better this year. Should be middle of the pack.

Fitz is the best relief pitcher in baseball

he is a mistake prone team killer when he is named as “the guy”. He’s been around long enough to know what he is at this stage

I agree he is not the long term answer but he can win in this league and wont be asked to do a whole lot with the defense he has.

What are the odds that Washington pulls him halfway through their season and tanks their playoff odds ala Miami?

Giants have the makings of a really solid defense, too.

It'll come down to 1.) offensive line play and 2.) Daniel Jones taking a next step.

But defense is gonna keep the Giants in a lot of games by itself.
Better luck next year...

Might as well do this.

Tough to imagine a healthy QB and a couple of draft picks helps Dallas enough from the b* slapping Washington put on them twice last year but even with that Washington only finished one game ahead of Dallas and NYG. Who knows...
