Oh boy....these fucks again? Last time we faced them they swept us at home ....lol
It was back on opening week, the 1st 3 games of the season.....smh

Maybe we can return the favor seeing as we're on the road, and away from that hellhole aka: Citifield.

Surprising score so far. Niese always dominates in Nats Park. Does he usually pitch to Travis d'Arnaud? He doesnt seem perfectly comfortable pitching to Recker tonight.

• TC shouldn't be sitting Lagares for anyone again.
• Colon had a quality outing.
• Murph continues to rake.
• Eric Campbell playing for Duda had 2 very nice AB's and 2 ribeyes.
• Mejia looks good in the closer role.
• Mets finally get win # 20.
• Go for the series win on Sunday.
• YGB!!!

I agree Yoga, can't leave Lagares on the bench anymore. Good things happen when he's in the game. Same thing for Eric Young when he's leading off. All the dude does is score runs.

The Nats placed Saturday's starter, Gio Gonzalez, on the DL with shoulder inflammation and promoted right-hander Ryan Mattheus. It is Gonzalez's first career DL trip.

TC = Totally Clueless / Tinkering Clown.

Animated TC: Lagares was never 'benched' - Mets Blog - ESPN New York

Josh Kosman in the Post suggests Saul Katz tried to do more than broach selling his share of the Mets. He reportedly unsuccessfully tried to convince brother-in-law Fred Wilpon to part with a controlling interest in the team. Citing “word around Major League Baseball,” Kosman writes:

Wilpon, 74, balked at the move largely because he wants to turn over the not-so-Amazin’s to his son, COO Jeff Wilpon.

Katz, 77, has children who are not interested in running the team.

Katz denied the New York Times report that he was interested in selling his stake. “I have no intention of selling my share of the Mets nor have I ever had any intention of selling my share,” Katz said.

The minor league coordinator (Tinkering Clown) that is currently occupying the manager's seat for this team (for far too long now imho) needs to GTFO w/ all these daily lineup variations, and he also has to stop announcing to the world what his plans and intentions are ahead of time which gives opposing teams an upper hand with their game preparations and strategy against us.

Annoying POS.
FFS.....Enough Already!!!

• The margin for error is already too small and narrow for this team to overcome their fielding miscues and base running blunders....ugghhh.

• Doing the simple basic little things all wrong, and all the wrong things too often is a sure fire way to failure. So is losing focus, and becoming complacent.

We could really use and benefit from a managerial & some coaching staff changes ASAP.
