Get outta here with that playground banter.

I was making a point, if you can't handle it...so be it, but
why try and make a fool out of yourself, with your reply.
You are the one going “oh no, teams shouldn’t go with the company that pays them significantly more than Adidas and UnderArmor because the money goes to Oregon.”

You want to know why teams are switching to Adidas, it’s because they are stepping up what they are paying. It has literally, absolutely nothing to do with Phil Knight and Oregon. Let me know when a school takes less money to go with Adidas or UnderArmor rather than Nike.

That is still irrelevant to the point. When you let Nike get your
sportswear inventory, you are donating to Oregon athletics.

Adidas is threatening UnderArmor, because then your money
will go to Maryland athletics.

So I’m guessing you are walking barefoot everywhere because gas money goes to the Texas and Oklahoma teams and shoe money goes to Maryland and Oregon.

You are scared of Maryland now? Man, you must be scared of your own shadow.

We don't have any oil wells where I live. We could, if they would
let us drill off shore.

I'm not sure who I'm afraid of, but Mich State is not on any list.

Yet Maryland and Oregon does.

The thing that struck me the most, reading thru that was, the number
of schools that have dumped Nike.

From a competitive standpoint, I can understand that move. When you wear their jersey, they also create all the sportswear that fans
buy. The more the fans buy, the more money Nike gets, the more
profit Knight earns, and the more money Knight gives to Oregon.

Why do competing schools want to help fund Oregon athletics?
Well my guess is that Phil supports Oregon out of pocket.
Nike board probably isn't approving any of the companies revenue to be pumped into a college football team.
Doesn't Nike actually pay the Universities to wear their shit, like Adidas and UA do? Plus they tend to not put our abortions like Adidas seems to do. UA has some uglies too, with Maryland being their flagship school.

I just don't think it works like that at all.

Nike pays Oregon a ton of money, but they pay a bunch of other schools too.

For a short web search I've found no hard numbers to suggest Nike is giving an unfair advantage to Oregon and same with UA at Maryland. If you find something to the contrary, please share.

I thought Maryland Athletics financial status was shaky at best.

I would imagine that Phil does support Oregon out-of-pocket,
but the money in his wallet came from Nike profits.

All of them pay other schools big money and then provide the
uni's for free. But, all of them get the rights to their official
brand for all sportswear purchased by the fans of the school.

They are using a smart marketing technique and schools are simply selling them their rights to do so. It beats spending millions
on tv ads to try and sell product.

I'll give you an example, even though I'm sure you have many
of your own. I went to buy floor mats for my jeep. I was going
to buy them with the FSU logo. 2 of them were 99.99. I went
instead to Walmart and bought a set of 4, solid black for 10 bucks.

I just chuckled and said to myself...I'll put some decals on them.

My point is when schools are selling away their rights to Nike
they also help fund Oregon athletics, thru Phil. Sell to Adidas
or Russell Athletic not Nike or Under Armor
