The NBA is a mess. For anyone that has followed the whole Hornets/Lakers/ Rockets fiasco...

Not sure how the league itself can "own" a team and then compound it by having the commissioner of the league calling the shots for that team. At the very least they should have had a committee making any decisions relating to the team.

Stern has dug himself as big a hole as I've seen any commissioner do.

Yeah, this was definitely crazy..... I can't say I'm a huge fan of the NBA, but I do tend to get caught up in the action when they playoffs begin. It probably has more to do with the time of year and lack of interesting sports action than anything else, but I love the NBA playoffs!

I can't stand the NBA. Marginal players get $15 million contracts. Players demand trades to specific teams. I was hoping they would stay locked out for the whole year.
