For this draft I really don't think there should be a position requirement.
Guys are so versatile these days.
Pretty much every SG, SF, PF is capable of playing at least 2 positions and so many PG's can play like a SG.
I think it adds more ownership to craft a team to your liking. I mean if someone wants to take their odds with 8 centers let them try it(something like that would produce an awful basketball team).

This is not going to be a current draft. How do we try to involve our new ranking system if one team has 4 PG's and 1 SG and hes playing someone with 1 PG and 4 PF's?
I think its clear by now ranking system is a shit show. But it's simple. You rank them on their ability to play that position.
I mean if some one really wants to have a damn PF playing SG against an athletic SG, that is their choice but it probably wont work out.
Nothing would ever be that extreme but its more for the switchable type players. You can have a lineup of LeBron and Carmelo then if that is the route you went.
Or Lillard and Chris Paul for example. You could get away with Lillard as a SG with ball handling skills. You can pretty fairly judge Lillard as a SG if you know anything about his game(if you don't you shouldn't be in these drafts).
It's stuff like that. I just don't think we should be too strict on their listed position
Shouldn't really use the wolves as an example but how often have we had a legit shooting guard? Lol.
Says the guy that posted throw some Ds on that, after I was one of 2 that explained why I voted the way I did... Couple of things...
While I like the premise, the 3 stat thing is kind of crazy IMO... First some people are listing more than 3 and it's also a ton of shit to go through when people aren't just posting numbers... I honestly think it should be tweeked to a certain word count description of what you put together and how you would position your team/players... A strategy maybe stats your choice but you get a word count...
Example... With my offense I plan to stretch the field with my WR and run underneath routes focusing on my short passes... Defense I plan to blitz every play...
Or
Example... My receiver is the greatest of all time stats are... My MLB is the best, stats...
I think it would give the voters a better feel for teams and strategy comes more into play... While I like adding the stats, who doesn't know blah blah blah was HOF and blah blah blah caught...
Well I think we still need 1 vote in the NFL draft then we can get started here.
Well sadly Trojan may be dead for all we know. Been MIA for a while.
