I do that every time they fall behind. It's like daring them to make me into a liar. Unfortunately, they seldom do.

M's could well lose the next 3. Maybe they sneak out one more. Who knows.

This is 54% of a team at best. I still don't believe they can make the playoffs as currently built and I'll believe that even if they get hot and string some wins together over a stretch.
it was such a good win tonight and that's 2 of the last 3 they came back late and REALLY late lol.

i always call games when we get down early too. if the m's can get a series tie or win here maybe i'll make a pact with myself to give that a rest for awhile.

I was watching on tape delay and when the Yanks scored the fourth run I was going to turn it off and watch Jeopardy. I checked my phone for some reason to just make sure and was shocked it said 5-4 final. so I watched the top of the 9th and then saw Munoz pitch a couple pitches in the bottom of the 9th and then fell asleep...lol. Great win, but I still believe in 9 inning wins take you further than last minute wins over a season. Regardless, it was fun.

Aaron Rodgers is in the Mariners’ winning clubhouse meeting with Scott Servais, who is a lifelong Packers fan along with quite a few on his staff.

Rojas was up in the .340's when starting at 3B. Ever since they moved him to LF then 2B, he is now down to .291. Why mess with the guy?

Raley is at .311 and is our only .300+ hitter.

Yes, what a great come from behind victory tonight. I can’t remember the last time we saw that with the Mariners when down more than one run. Great to see. Great situational hitting in the ninth. Timely hitting at the right time. It was nice to see them manufacture runs instead of relying on the home run…. That Yankees pitcher has been filthy all year. Surprised that he was the guy we lit up.

Don't want to go all sugarcoating the effort, but, that might have been the greatest save of Munoz' Mariner career.

That was the 26th save of Andres Munoz' Mariner career. Dare I say that was his greatest one yet? He made the right-handed bats (Volpe and Judge) look silly against his slider.

Cause you got to get everyone AB’s is what I’m guessing the excuse is. Divish is perplexed on Scott’s decisions cause they built the roster a certain way and he has yet to use it that way. Granted JP’s injury threw a wrench in, but shouldn’t have affected the Rojas/Urias platoon nor the pre like 3 weeks ago playing of Raley

Anyone who thought Houston was done for the season after their horrendous start has not been paying attention to the AL West for the past eight or nine years

I know it was only a matter of time before they got things dialed in and started making a push for .500 and beyond
Also doing it with Yordan Alverez having a power outage. Only a matter of time till he gets it together.

Yep. And Bregman and Abreu have not done much yet either. Abreu may have hit the wall, age-wise, but Bregman is going to get it going sooner or later.

I still can’t wrap my brain around. The fact Julio nearly has 200 at bats this season, which is pretty much basically 1/3 of the 600 at bats which make up most hitters complete season

And he has a grand total of two home runs

I wonder what the dollar value the Mariners have paid for each one of those home runs thus far this season

Agreed and I get the feeling Astros will be in the market for a 1B whether it's Goldschmit or Pete Alsonso.
