Suarez really digressing...

Bob Nightengale

@BNightengale

The St. Louis Cardinals' 6-0 lead quickly vanished into the night with Arizona Diamondbacks 3B Eugenio Suarez hitting a 3-run homer to tie the game at 6-apiece.

Make that six shutout innings for Bryce Miller, who is at 88 pitches, with two walks, three hits and three strikeouts.Trent Thornton is warming, and given that Scott Servais pulled Miller at 78 pitches his last time out, it's likely his night is done.

Well, at least one of Julio’s strikes was actually a strike. I guess we should call that a good at bat?

I’m just hoping he didn’t leave his sombrero on the team plane when they flew back to Seattle.

I’m sure one of his teammates was thoughtful enough to put it in his locker in the clubhouse

Great night on the bump for Miller

As for the offense, they’re probably in big trouble

Hancock is going to be pretty pissed as well as Sundays starter…when they find out that the team used up all of the weekends run production in tonight‘s game

Because it was on Apple TV I was able to finally watch a game. At least I watched one when they won.

Opposite here. I refused to get Apple this year. I did it in the past, but if they can keep winning by being on Apple and not Root, more power to them. It frees up my time. Glad for you though.

Another game where it is 3 to 1 in the top of the seventh and it feels like it might as well be 30 to 1.

Same thought. Just nothing. No spark. Apparently they play better when few can watch them on TV. Camera shy I am guessing.

2-1… 2 on, 0 out. Moved runners to 2nd and 3rd 1 out. Opportunity to tie or lead. Laid a fat goose egg. Your M’s.

Now it’s 4-1 and the game might as well be over.

Way too many years of the same old shit year in and year out. Servais post game is nothing but a bunch of bullshit talk. Seattle has too big of a fan base to put up with "Mr. Baseball" Stanton and his group of "baseball" investors. Sell this team and get a Manager like good old Lou. He wouldn't put up with this shit show for 1 second!! Why fans continue to pay good money to sit in the stands and continue supporting Seattle's summer SHIT show. Root Sports sucks right along with this f'n organization. :L  :trash: :lm:

Yesterday the M's faced a lineup that had 7 Cubs above the Mendoza line.

The Mariners had 2 (with a 3rd that pinch hit later).

In what should be known going forward as the Servias line, the M's had 6 in the lineup yesterday batting under .190

I'm tired of hearing about marine layers and how early it is. Other teams don't strike out at a historic pace early. Other teams don't waste young talent with a staff that simply cannot develop hitting at a level this one does. I'm sure most good teams also don't make excuses and keep their heads in the sand about what their problems are.

I’ve always had Apple TV. So it was a bonus for me when the Mariners were on it. I wouldn’t buy it just to watch the Mariners though.
