I agree

How can a ball team not manufacture 1 single run in 18 innings ?

Getting to the point I may start to fast forward thru all Kelenic at bats. How does he continue to hit weak infield dribblers 60-90 feet when he is in a hitters count of 2-0 or 3-1 sittin' dead red fast ball, looking for a pitch to drive somewhere ? Referring to his last ab in the 9th I think with a runner on 1st and 1 or 2 outs and he has a 3-0 count. Takes a strike fastball to get to 3-1 ( no way he has the green lite to swing 3-0 ) then the very next pitch he hits a little league 5mph infield squibbler to the 1st basemen that never made it 80 feet and end of game - 3 outs. The night before he hit the exact same weak ass ground ball in a crucial at bat - same scenario - same exact result 5mph squibbler the pitcher fielded ( crushed it 55 feet - hahaha )

I think he may be a career below Mendoza line hitter no matter how long he plays in the bigs.

And Suarez ( our clean up hitter ) batting barely .210 that swings for the fences every hack, when a simple base hit will plate a run.

And who the hell are we sending to the mound in relief wearing pimped out multiple fat gold chains around his neck and OUTSIDE his jersey who walks everyone and got lucky on the absolute seed someone hit right at Julio in center. Castillo ? Management has got to tell him to leave his Mr T starter kit jewelry in his locker for the post game club scene. That looks ridiculous and totally inappropriate. Everyone on the field is a multi millionaire ... who is he trying to impress ??

Week or so ago I thought we had us a ball club - now not so much ( but it's still early )

seems legit.gif

I'm not a fan of the advertising on the back of the pitchers mound. Keep that crap off the field.

Another game, another failure to show up, I see.

Thus ends the game, the series, THE SEASON. I often say this, but this is one time I seriously have NO HOPE for these guys. If they're gonna quit this early in the season, so be it.

Hell with them.

In other news...

Here are a couple umpire fails. This first guy should be thrown out of the league.

Which led to this.

First runs of the series. First extra base hit of the series. Suarez now 3 for 35 on road trip.

How bad does it have to get before you send him down?

How bad does it have to get before you send him down?

At this point ... I think you just feed him to the wolves. Run his ass out there against lefties - righties - knuckle-ballers - that ambidextrous dude who pitched for the A's a few years ago - or ANYBODY who stands on the hill of thrills.

What other club would want him if we toss him into the scrap heap?

He either figures it out this season or you just pass him off to anyone who makes a better offer than a bucket of batting practice baseballs.

The only balls he rarely seems to hit hard, they are pulled foul - 1st base side. He just cannot make solid contact spraying the ball around like a normal MLB hitter. He cannot make solid contact as a dead pull hitter either ( which he is clearly NOT - he is not any kind of hitter, he is a swinger and a miss'er ) I hope for the club sake he gets it and puts together a decent mlb career. But I think what you see right now is what you get.

If he is still in the bigs on anybodys 25 man roster a year or so from now, I would be very VERY surprised.

And to think he declined the Ms offer to extend him for a bag of cash and he declined last year to 'bet on himself' looks like a gift to the Mariners wallet right now.

How much further down the line up do you bury him - I think he is batting 8th now ? He is the worst hitter on the ball club and possibly the worst in all of mlb.

Stick a fork in him ... he's done.
