Very close... E has the better rotation but not much power in that lineup.

Team E too much pitching and solid pen against that lineup. Not a stellar lineup for team E. enough to carry for this matchup.

Like the bench players late in games from E also.

Why did team A win round 1?

E has Gold Glove starters at all positions aside from Right and shortstop. When the O-Dog comes in late it leaves only Choo without the award.

No 50 homer guys, but Bruce has three straight seasons over 30, Wright and Sizemore had prime stretches averaging just under 30/year. Gonzalez put out 40 playing his home games at Petco. Even the Numba Nine hitter had a four year run averaging over 20 jacks.

Pitching, Defense and ol' Don Kelly. Plus maybr a three run homer, or just a bunch of doubles.

I got thumped in round one. Pretty funny though lol. B was a tough draw. I'd just slide them into finals, along with team E, and let those four teams play each other since there was a mistake
