He was eligible to return yesterday ... the Twins are saying he's not ready to return yet. Doubt TEX sees him at RBIA.

A massive AS year ... and another injury. A very fragile talent. Class act. Hope everyone is being conservative as possible for his safety.

Good for them, there's absolutely no reason to risk it.

Did you see the play? It didn't look like much...tough guy, he barely made a deal of it.
... sometimes concussions can be a little flukey, but still...you'd expect to him exhibit more discomfort right away, with the symptoms he's been having.

These are trap games ... especially with Mauer on the DL. A week ago SEA took 2 of 3 from TEX at RBIA. Now MIN is at RBIA for 3 games. Anything less than a sweep is below my expectations. I would not be at all happy with 2 of 3.

While TEX is playing MIN ... OAK hosts TBR (WC2 vs WC1) for 3 ... DET host CLE for 3 (who is now hot on their tail) ... BOS hosts CHW for 3 (before hosting DET for 3).

These are trap games ... one at a time ... TEX needs to take all three... then go out to OAK and slam the door on their season like they did to TEX last year.

Yes. Read on ESPN that Mauer will not travel with the team this weekend. Good one less thorn.

No. How does it line up?

Darvish vs. Hendriks, Garza vs. Pelfrey, and Blackley vs. Correia. The only one I'm worried about is the 3rd one and its not because of Blackley. Correia shut us down in Minnesota early in the season, I don't recall our team scoring a run the entire game.

Will post it when I get to a PC. But if you look at the weekend probables on ESPN we have a call up with a high ERA, then struggling Pelfrey then someone with a 4.32 ERA who is pitching well and deep lately.
