I think Nebraska can win tonight, but they need to get over the mental hump that prevents them from finishing and putting an opponent away.

Minnesota is #20 in the RPI.

I've watched them plenty this year and they're really good.

This is another game that Ken Pomeroy has us losing. Another game that we need to win badly.

A win tonight would give us 2 big quality wins for the RPI and BPI rankings.

Michigan has won 8 straight with their last 3 being over ranked opponents (#3, #10, #3).

To think that Nebraska played them closer (70-71) than any of the other 7 opponents is a good sign.

The game literally came down to a missed tip in.

This young team needs to learn how to finish.

Yea that Michigan game gives me nightmares.

If this was next year we might be 5-1 right now as opposed to 1-5.

Actually it's not quite as easy as I make it out to be. Nebraska needs to play better on the inside as well.

However, even that I contribute to being more mental than anything else.

We have outrebounded almost every single team we've played this year.

Our problem inside is that we don't have another post player to go along with Leslie. Pitchford is basically a 3 at best.......Shavon is a 3......Terran is a 3.

We have a lot of guys that could borderline play that 4 position but just don't have the size. Pitchford has the size but his balls are the size of a kiddniegardners right now.

We beat Michigan, Penn State, and Purdue as long as we don't shit the bed in the final minutes like we did. That is all youth making inexperienced mistakes in those 3 games.

I'm more referring to working the ball inside for higher percentage shots as opposed to rebounding. Nebraska is more likely to turn it over in there and that's why they're forced to shoot so many 3's.

If you're cold from outside it makes for a long night.

It'll be interesting to see how the crowd is at Pinnacle following the road loss to Penn St.

If NU could have found a way to hold on and win that, they'd be on a 2 game run and the crowd would be roaring from the start with a chance to make it 3.

I honestly don't know if we're gonna match up well tonight.

I will be delighted if we do win. Minnesota is really talented and will absolutley be receiving votes for top 25 if they beat us.
