Heat likely to have to waive Dawkins in order to use $2.65 million injured-player exception. Could wait for Blatche to return from China.

Diva Wade did travel to Brooklyn with team but you never know with him if he plays or not - Its all about how that vaginal area feels

I really like Monroe. Only 5.5 million in salary, so getting the contacts to match shouldnt be that hard. Only problem with Monroe is his contact is up this year. Detroit wants a first rounder..which I would be cool with giving up if he signs longer term with Miami. Not sure of 2016 Heat cap .. but he is definitely worth a first rounder.

Leave it to the Miami Herald to ask a dumb question in their article of the Heat “ should the Heat tank the season for a high draft pick?” Absolutely not. Aside from McRob, most of our guys will be back eventually.

Now, if Diva was our only healthy body, then you might have to consider tanking because you arent going to get much out of him.

Blatche is the most likely scenario right now.

Put Beasley on the same plane.
Last game he put up 43-10-10.

Would we win a lot of mores games because of him? Nope.

But we'd be way more fun to watch.

Chances are with this current bunch we'll struggle to get to 85 most nights.

I'm going to test out the trade machine to see the best deal we can get for Monroe.

I'll post the link here so you guys can mess around with it also

We can easily get Monroe.

If we package Cole & Granger he is all ours.

We can also probably deal him straight up for Chalmers.

I'm not sure what Detroit is looking for but Monroe contract is so small that the money is easy to match-up

Monroe would be solid.. we dont have a 1st rd pick next season to trade. Which also makes tanking stupid. Cleveland gets our pick. But id love to get monroe, blatche and Beasley :)

I'm all for giving up any of those 3, but not a #1.

We aren't going anywhere this year regardless.

Give me a lotto pick this year and Riley a boat of cap space for the summer of '16.

I wouldn't mind seeing a frontcourt of Anthony Davis and Bosh, for example.

We can't trade what we don't have, plus I believe you can't trade #1's in consecutive years (thanks to Ted Stepien).

Question really is the long term health of Bosh this year. If he's only out a few weeks then can stay healthy the rest of the year, we might hang around 6-8 seed.

Jan/Feb could get brutal though.
We have a ton of road games in general and a lot are against good WC teams.

Is it more or less likely that they blow up the team now? -- Robert.

A: There's really nothing to "blow up." Nobody is taking Josh McRoberts in his current state. And Luol Deng has an opt-out after this season, so teams could/would be reluctant there. Chris Bosh is still in it for the long run, and no way they move Dwyane Wade. And they cannot, by rule, trade Birdman until Jan. 15, because of the raise Chris Andersen received from his previous contract. So by blowing up, do you mean Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers? Pat Riley, for better or worse, made the decision in July to push forward and live in the moment. Injuries or no injuries. Micky Arison, in his letter to Heat Nation, told fans that the focus would remain on winning. Injuries or not. Well, the injuries are here. But Wade is still here, Bosh will be back, Deng is in place, and plenty of institutional faith (and salary) has been invested in Chalmers and Andersen. To "blow up" would go against everything Riley said in July, everything Arison wrote. No, what they do now is take that $2.65 million injured-player exception and spend it one someone, anyone, who can help compensate for the loss of McRoberts. This time the luxury tax isn't a factor, can't be a factor. There is a move to made, not to blow up, but to build back up. Josh McRoberts couldn't give the Heat the season they wanted, but there still could be net gain out of the misfortune. Jermaine O'Neal? Andray Blatche? Tyrus Thomas? Andrei Kirilenko?

Q: Now you see why the team needs a Jordan Crawford or a scorer like Lance Stephenson. Fans don't want to watch grind-out games. With all the injuries the Heat have no offense. -- Stuart.

A: Or defense. An argument could be made that a turn to more of a grind-out approach might be the best option. But the reality is that there are not enough defenders or rebounds to necessarily work that style. The reality is that Bosh's injury is short-term and Dwyane Wade is still producing at a high rate. And when you think about it, the solid start to the season came with McRoberts unavailable. What the Heat have to do is get back to the place they were in early November, when they beat Toronto at AmericanAirlines Arena and the Mavericks in Dallas.

Q: Let's get Beasley back. -- Ronald.

A: Ah, the new (old) reality.

So stupid that people are talking about blowing things up and tanking. Nothing more stupid. Consider this: Despite all the ups and downs so far this season, the Heat remain as the 7th seed - other seasons, these ups and downs , even this early, would probably result in a team falling to the 8th seed or further - A couple of wins and the Heat are back up to the middle of the pack.

Granted, we cant lose more guys - I mean if we have to depend on Diva to carry the team, we may as well tank - But, hopefully CB wont be out for too long and we can have a chance.
