A great 10-play opening scoring drive for the Fins -- aided by a couple of penalties but still a great drive. A great throw by Tannehill and even better catch by Parker. A little running mixed in. But, Tannehill did have a couple of throw aways that seemed to get away from him high. Gotta like the poise he showed on each of the next plays after those throws rather than let it kill the drive.
Now, the biggest mystery of all is to see how willing this defense is going to be to hold leads today.
Not a good second drive for the Fins - bad field position and the OL decides to rear its ugly head. Looks like the Fins will escape giving up a safety but will give the Bills good field position nonetheless
Missed tackles and penalties by the defense haunt the Fins this drive and the Bills score. It was only a matter of time before the Fins D did their thing.
Thankfully, Hauschka with an uncharacteristic missed XP
What a great screen/toss pass whatever you want to call it from Ryan Tannehill to Drake to give the Fins an 8-point lead with 40 seconds left in the half.
And there goes the Fins D choking again - aided by more dirty hits from Kiko Alonso.
At some point the team has to stop complaining about how the refs enforce comment sense rules - and instead address a player who has too often cost the team with his in disciplinary actions on the field.
Fumble on a near sack from the Fins D finally kills the Bills drive - If the Fins can be smart with the ball now -- they can seal this win - after Hauschka misses a FG
I'm sorry but Gase needs to be fired I'm more sure than ever now. He simply refuses to give his team a fair chance to seal a game. 3rd and inches he's in shotgun again. While wildcat isn't a horrible call why in shotgun? Why not allow Ballage a chance to fall forward for 4 inches if you are scared Tanny can't which is assine!!! That alone is enough in my mind that he needs to go. I won't even bring up that his other option is to line up in shotgun and throw a 25+ pass play with little chance of success. The guys brain dead...
Also Burke I've seen enough. He asks LB's to cover WR'S and wonders why they can't keep up??? The bills only chance was to run shady or their QB and Burke decided to let it happen all game. Allan can't even throw a football but didn't run blitz much at all. See you later Burke!!!
