1 win in last 49 games on road when they start behind in 4th quarter.

That is a surprising stat. Wonder how many years that covers?

That was a good defensive stand by the Fins. They now have a chance to take the lead.

Sometimes Tannehill needs to tuck ball and run

Tannehill with a clutch throw to Sims. Sims has been playing well with Clay out of the game.

16 to 13 Fins. It's up to the defense now.

Great clutch defensive plays by the Fins pass rush. Jenkins with great coverage & Jones put the game away. D Jordan had a big play earlier with the blocked punt. On offense: Landry, Miller & others had good games. Good solid win overall for the Fins.

It was a tough win. They didn't get many breaks but I'm proud that they made their own in the end. Good teams find a way to win shit ass games like this...

An ugly win sure beats a pretty loss. It was good to see the Fins win this close game. There are some areas that will need to improve though. The kicking game was inconsistent. Sturgis has missed 4 kicks this year that are under 50 yrds. The Fins were lucky that his performance didn't cost the team the game. To his credit he did connect on the close game winner but he's got to get better to compete with Gostkowski and other quality kickers. The Fins will need to stop the run better to win & keep the run to the playoffs going.

Sturgis came back and made up for his miss and in the end pounced his kick through the endzone like they should have all game!!! He's supposed to have a strong leg so I'm not sure why they don't just do this all the time against good returners???

Overall a wins a win but they need to fix the run D. Maybe move Odrick to end on early downs. They must do something or they'll lose to teams like the Ravens.

The Fins were trying to avoid kicking it to Harvin. Sturgis does have a strong leg therefore they are usually better off just letting him kick the ball to the end zone.

The Jets gave a lot of different formations for their runs. They are well coached & have a variety of good RB's. I have to give them credit. The Ravens are also a top 5 team at running the ball so the Fins will need to play better. Unlike the Jets though the Ravens have a better passing offense. The Raven's weakness is stopping the pass which could work out well for the Fins.

Happy with the win - And while an INT was the game saver, we were playing the Jets who were restricting Geno all game long. The offensive TD drive previously gave us a chance after the defense was trying to lose it all game long. For the moment, based on tiebreakers involving multiple teams, we are the 6th seed. With a win against the Ravens and other favorable results, we could continue to move up and then in a sense control our destiny - but we still dont.

The defense needs to improve - especially in tackling and stoping the run

The Fins are very much in control of their own destiny. If they go 11-5 then they are in the playoffs as a wildcard team. They are the 6th seed. That wont change unless they loose. In fact, if they win out & the Pats lose one game then they will win the AFC East. I'm not saying it will happen but it could happen.

From what I understood the Fins went after Sturgis because he could routinely kick it through the endzone whenever necessary. Yet he rarely does this. Did he lose strength in his leg? If not he should have hammered it through instead of pooching it away from harvin giving them the ball at the 40!!! I just don't get it...
