I see Nick Masset gets a minor league deal with the Nats, again proving that once you are in the majors, it's hard to get out of the majors. He will get some innings at AAA and probably will get a chance to make the roster in March. Clog up the system.
It's no wonder teams like these guys. They know how to get to the ballpark -- cheap.
The problem is, like what the Reds do, is keep their real prospects at Pensacola until they are 45 years old.

It's a living. A pretty good one sometimes. MLB pension qualifier is just 5 years. About like politics- no worries about getting your social security cut.
