Reynolds was DFA'd by the Indians. Yes, he is hitting only .215, but the bulk of his few hits are for extra bases. Dude has power, plays a decent defensive 3B (and 1B for that matter). Would not be a bad guy to have as a utility guy and/or DH down the stretch and in the playoffs. Since he was DFA'd I do not think we would need to give anything up for him....

I do think we could use a power pinch hitter. Another 3b couldn't be bad, especially for cheap. I'm confident with just about anyone decent we can put around our star players.

I would be too. However, to me here, there is kind of a bad precident ( if you stretch it far enough ). That being, the Jim Thome experiment of 2009. That did not work out so well, and, Thome was a serious OBP guy, despite the power & K's.

I just keep thinking about those T.V BILLIONS, and how they could be put to more use than they have this year.

He's on pace to s/o 205 times this year and only hit 9 more HRs. That's 82 SO for 9 HR.

And you want that?! As I said elsewhere, he's had way too many Nomar-type injuries to avoid suspicion of juicing. My guess is that his already anemic production will fall off the table from here on out.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if the Dodgers make a purely defensive move and pick him up but am not expecting it.

I'm with MVPuig, we aren't really searching for a star at this point and if this guy comes cheap, why not? If D Gordon could play 3b I wouldn't ask for a thing.

Everyone stay away from Reynolds he has been non-existent. He belongs in Triple-A until he cleans his act up.

I don't know how you go to hitting 8 HRs and batting .300 to 7 HRs and .150 in next 3 months. All he does is strikeout
