Probably game over now with the pen they have and we couldn't even hit their worst pen arm yesterday. Severino was probably as off as he will ever be, needed to do more.

Gamel has been hot at the plate, he should be in the line up every day while he's on a roll.

Don't blink now, but Seager is on a streak- at least he is today anyway. LOL I can't believe I'm saying something positive about Seager's offense. :D

Wait, did I see that correctly? Did .150 hitting Romine get a lead off single? Like a legit real hit and everything? :noidea:

Oh they are probably a playoff team. I mean since they added that second WC anyway. They wouldn't have been a playoff team throughout the entirely of the history of baseball prior to 2012, but that's another story. They likely are now. They won't get anywhere with it, but at least we will probably get to see Paxton go out and flame out against either Boston or NY in that 163rd game before their inevitable clearing out the lockers day.

I have never considered the wildcard game a playoff game. I see it like when we played the Angels in that 163rd game of the season loser out game.

Now they have to try to salvage a game out of the boston series just to reach 3 out of the 10 game stretch. Tomorrow is the best chance? :noidea:

Ya,and you would think a 5-0 lead with 2 outs and nobody on in the 5th would do it.
I'm more annoyed that the offense just completely mailed it in after the 5th and didn't get a hit. But yeah just an all systems failure kind of night

Although M's have scored late a lot, it just doesn't seem like they do that after scoring big early so I wasn't expecting more.

I was a bit amused with hearing some M's players and writers talking about how fly balls in other parks were homers there yet I didn't see many of our fly balls leaving the short yard.

Had many chances the last two nights two put up more but the offense just misses too much meat in the middle of the plate. Its frustrating to watch.

Yeah, same with the skipper. Everyone kept saying you can't make mistakes because of that park etc, but last time I checked, the M's were also taking a similar number of at bats at that very same ballpark. It's just excuses when none are needed. The Yankees are more talented and have a deeper roster. It is what it is. Doesn't automatically mean the same thing would happen in a one game playoff because no one knows what injuries or other changes will happen by then. Right now, today the M's aren't as good. Case closed. On to Boston.
