I feel good about tonight's game and I haven't said that in a while. I think I'm starting to turn a little on this team.

Let's see what Webster can do tonight.

Webstuh?

I'm on the west coast, but stayed with a friend in Webster, Mass. It was amazing how they called it Webstuh...and don't get me started on how they pronounce Worcester....

i think this might be the best lineup the Mariners can produce, beside Morse being out in RF over Saunders.

When Morse comes back I'd rather see Saunders in center with Ackley relegated to bench warmer.

Bosux just rocked Kuma's pitch count, but he got out of the 2nd with minimal damage.

Great situational hitting from Miller clearing the bases.

Had to figure Kuma would start giving up some HRs after being lights out for most of the season so far.

Please no more tonight, though.

Mother of god, make it stop.

Offense finally waking up, and pitching goes south. Same as it ever was. lol.

6th straight appearance in which Capps has given up at least one run and his ERA is now over six.

It's past time for him to try to right the ship down in the minors. We can't keep putting him out there.

What's wrong with a pitcher giving up just one run? Isn't it better than giving up like, 3 or 4 runs?

Nothing if you're a starter, but Capps isn't a starter. He's a reliever who in his last 6 appearances has never pitched more than 2 innings and has given up at least one run in each. In five of the six outings he's given up more than one run and his ERA has jumped from 3.54 to 6.62. Not that most of the arms in the bullpen are any better, but lately Capps has been awful.
