He's one of the best young hitters in baseball, and if it wouldn't take trading GIlbert, Kirby, France or Julio I'd do it in a second.

Feels like this is not going to end well. Can't really complain. Every team has off days and the M's have gone a good stretch without one. Wish they could have carried the streak into the AS break so the talk would be about them and the first game back against Houston would be about as electric as any game in the last 20 years, but no matter what happens in this one, nor the one tomorrow, they finished the first 'half' in grand style.
