By saying it was one of the best defenses last year? No dice

He’s just doing more shitty trolling. Funny thing is, he’s getting bites. Not even from his target audience though.

You'd never catch coach Petersen saying something like that about another team.

I suspect Bama will get their shot at him soon enough.

But all that's happened so far is you lost every playoff game you've been too.

That's called reality.

Great story. What’s your point? Nobody in here talking shit or being hostile. No need to bow up.

Some top defenses are so because they play quite a bit of defense with their offensive style/philosophy.

I guess the same might be said of some top offenses...but that is a little more difficult to do.

Your coach is the one who decided to mention the topic. And then when people give their opinions on it(as in he needs to shut up), you are the one who said everyone had bleeding vagina's.

So yeah, fucking do something and shut the fuck up until then.

Go wash the sand out of your vag, bro. He’s not wrong, and he complimented Georgia’s D very highly. It’s all being blown up by people who love their hot takes. Probably shouldn’t have said it, but so what? Get the fuck over it.

It's a given that if you play against better offenses, your overall stats are going to be worse than teams that don't. It's also why I like advanced stats. Can't get rid of it all, but it does a better job of dealing with it than raw stats.

He's not wrong in that aspect. But you don't mention the team you just lost too when saying it, because it looks like sour grapes. There is a better way to make the point.

Sorry, he is the one who mentioned the team he lost too. He's got the sandy vag, check your chin and you'll find a handful.

I would agree with that. Young coach. He’ll learn.

Well if you say so, it must be true.

It is also a given if a team subscribes to a slow, methodical, ball control offensive philosophy that grinds it out their overall defensive stats (raw stats are you call them) are going to be better by limiting the other teams offensive touches. Especially if such a team can get ahead and stay ahead. And if a team wants to score quickly with big plays and up tempo, their defensive stats aren't going to be as good...even if they are pretty decent. They are on the field too much.

Yeah, FEI is good for measuring efficiency.

I didn't find efficiency to be a good way to predict game outcomes however. In the end, just looking at the overall stats provided the strongest indicators, and such things were just included in that automatically when comparing teams to predict the outcome.

7 times teams have held Oklahoma to less than 45 points (what was scored at the end of regulation), so it’s not like Georgia’s defense really did something that special against Oklahoma’s offense.

Oklahoma’s defense is what failed them, not the offense.

I don't think any team would have a top 5 defense if they played in the Big 12.

But any teams offensive stats would improve because they get to play one game against Texas Tech's defense every year!

He did light up Georgia's defense like a Christmas tree, so he can talk. I do think he should be more worried about his own defense and DC. The defensd that had trouble lining up correctly in their 14th game and a DC that needs a body guard to interact with OU fans
