Doob's take: Pretty much everything in the playoffs has been sorted out by now, with the exception of who gets home ice between the Lightning and the Canadiens in the first round. As it stands the Canadiens have 100 points with no games left while the Lightning have 99 points with 1 game left. With a win against the Capitals, the Lightning will secure home ice for the first round. Although the Capitals have had a very disappointing season, they have been on a tear as of late winning their last 4, including wins against the likes of the Blues and Blackhawks. Capitals have had the Lightning's number this season, they're at home, and they're playing carefree. At the same time, I think this means more to the Lightning than it does to the Capitals. Doob picks the Lightning to win 3-2.

I will also take the lightning 3 to 2 doobee. Bad news to hear about ryan Malone doobee I hope he can get his life back on track. Maybe he needs support from his family maybe he needs to play for the penguins again. Maybe his dad greg Malone can guide him.

Yeah man, was always a Ryan Malone fan. Feel bad for the guy. Hope he gets help. Don't want to see anyone go down that road.

Lindback has really found his game, although I thought the defense really stepped up its game as well.

ya the defense has improved victor hedman has really taken a big step forward this year! he really goes un noticed down here in tampa. Matt Carle has also been very solid as well! palat was a plus 28 this year as a rookie thats really good he is great on both sides of the rink.
