I wonder if Hurdle will try to find some low leverage situations to sneak him into some games to get his feet wet.

5 consecutive RHP hopefully we see a lot of him quickly.

There is an open spot on the 40 man, a corresponding move on the 25 man will likely come tomorrow when he is officially promoted. I would venture a guess that it would be Travis Snider to the 60 day dl.

I'm assuming McKenry will go to the 60-day DL. I wouldn't be shocked if Marte ended up on the 15-day either, but if he doesn't, Presley may be taking a trip back down to Indy.

Hopefully it isn't Marte. Interested to see Lambo, I don't have high expectations for this year, but I like him in the long run.

Now I would like to see the Pirates make a strong push for Jose Abreu - Cuban first baseman just defected.

He sounds like he could really help and it would only take money - no draft spot, prospects in a trade, etc. Pirates have money to spend and after the success of some other recent Cubans, they will hopefully be willing to get in the game.

The middle of the order would be set for sometime with McCutchen, Abreu, Alvarez with Polanco/Lambo being added to play right. They could go with Jones in his final arby year in right to get things started and to stick around as insurance at first and right.

Its about time, he could have been had in the last 2 rule 5 drafts.. so he must have some holes in his game.

I bet they just start him for now, he cant be much worse than the trio of turds we have been running out there this year.
