Man, it's like all the excitement for this season went down the drain last night. So bummed about Julius. Was most looking forward to watching his progress.


Game 2 of a very difficult early schedule. I don't think the team is going to up for this game. It could be another blowout. I hate being so pessimistic, but a top-5 pick may be in the cards for the Lakers after this season.

The Lakers could very well be 5-15 after the first 20 games. First part of the schedule is just brutal, they have lost some key pieces to injury and even without the injuries, it was going to take time to gel.

With the injuries, we won't see what this team actually is until around the all-star break. By then, even if they somehow ended up being good enough to make a playoff push, it'll be too late.
