These kids are fantastic. One minor worry I have is that Luol has started out really slow. Other than that, man they compete night in, and night out. Extremely young team growing before our very eyes.

Agree. They are fun to watch and they never give up. Nice to see after what we've watched over the past few years.

So much to be excited about this year. We have a coach who can actually make Nick Young play for more than a paycheck. Maybe Russell did him a favor by ruining his relationship with Iggy.

When shots are falling for the Lakers they are as tough to beat as anyone in the league. It's the defense that is patchwork. They've been competitive in the 4th quarter for every one of their games. Great signs all around this year. Russell putting on weight is really going to help him break out into a star.

Basketball is supposed to be fun, but there still has to be accountability. Luke seems to understand that. Before Luke, there was D'Antoni who was all fun with no accountability and Byron who was all accountability and no fun. Luke seems to bring both.

Also, in order to develop a team, the players need a coach they believe in and trust, by all accounts, every one of these guys believes in and trusts Luke.

The great thing about this team is that they could easily have a winning record if it weren't for turnovers and missed shots. They've been competitive in every game so far!
