Long overdue. Should have been done in August but I guess they wanted to get the new GM in place first. But it is curious that Trammel is fired but will be manager for the final 3 games.

I wonder who the candidate are going to be? I really hope they don't promote Phil Nevin as the manager. Personally, I would like to see if they can make a play to get Matt Williams back.

Anyways, here's to having the #1 pick in a weak MLB draft next season.
