Some of the guys who are still Non Sports Talk regulars have a Facebook group message session going. They are being told that the boards are down for maintenance. The group message conversation started last Wednesday. Seems like a long time to be down...especially as training camps are starting.

There's very few of us here. This board is full of people with well below average intelligence, so it makes having an honest discussion difficult. Plus the political leanings are almost exactly the opposite of KFFL, so all the politicos among the NST'ers either flame out or leave. I only wander into the politics section once in a great while, probably about as often as I wandered into political threads on KFFL, so that part doesn't bother me as much.

But it's fun sometimes to troll the idiots, and you definitely never lose an argument. And there are a couple people here who aren't dumb as a rock, you just have to look for them. I gave up on KFFL completely a long time ago.

I know Iggloo and L. Freamon are two posters who have posted on KFFL (then USAToday) until the bitter end a couple weeks back. I was hoping one of them might know if there was any movement of longtime KFFLers to a new home.

I don't really engage in political discussion here, but the level of football discourse is similar to KFFL IMO. Some idiots, some trolls, some smarter people. It's a message board.

The Eagles board is a little sleepy right now but I suspect it picks up come next month.
