Yeah definitely sucks, but turn around could be faster depending on the haul they get back for him. Would you rather the team trade him for multiple picks or possibly some younger prospects with upside?

Popovich has a nice history of choosing good players in the draft and if he can get two or three really young players , the Spurs rebuild might take less then 4 years knowing Popovich and most likely in two or three years in my opinion

I'm surprised I haven't heard much in the way of Philly rumors... most of the talk has been LAL and BOS, among a couple of others... very little '6ers smoke though.

We have no GM. Which doesn't mean that a deal couldn't happen. Brett Brown has ties to Kawhi and could make a deal happen if the Sixers wanted to happen.

IMO, REGARDLESS of the GM situation, if Kawhi is really available the Sixers HAVE to do whatever they can to get him. Assuming his health isn't a concern.

Embiid, Simmons and Kawhi are a formidable trio. And the Sixers would still have cap space to bring in some quality players, perhaps even a stud if they really wanted to.

IMO, I would be shocked if Kawhi is traded before free agency. Once that happens, things get pretty crazy.
