And after watching it, I'm not sure it would have mattered. Texas spiked the ball with 14 seconds left at the 31.5 yard line, then hit a pass to the 22 yard line with 8 seconds left and called a time out. So they wouldn't have run that final pass play that put them at like the 17 yard line, but it still would have been a totally reasonable field goal from the 22. So it was a like 34 yard field goal instead of a 39 yard field goal.

"So we did acknowledge that to Coach Miles and Kansas." Hell, they acknowledged they screwed Tech at the Baylor game too. But admitting the error still doesn't grant either team a win!

Maybe Jeff Long will call Kirby Hocutt and get advice on how to get the Big 12 to fine him if he decides to say anything bad about the Big 12 offices!

Funny (unless you are a Tech fan) how in one of those games Tech got screwed out of a win against Baylor by the officials and then screwed themselves out of another one against Kansas!
