Nope, I split that honor between Smoak and Ackley.

Miller was decent last year, had a poor 6 weeks and has played better the last month or so.

Meanwhile Smoak has been mediocre for 4 years and Ackley for 3 years, I think the excuses have run out on them.

Guys like Miller and Zunino have only been in the majors for a full year so they are due for mistakes or rough stretches.

I was actually going to make a thread about Miller, he looks to be improving.

Brad Miller over the last 25 games (May 16 to June 18):
2 HR 7 RBI .247 BA .341 OBP

Brad Miller over the 25 games before that (April 14 to May 14):
0 HR 5 RBI .111 BA .191 OBP

Perhaps he has worked his way out of his slump.

I think everyone in this lineup other than robinson cano maybe james jones is public enemy #1 it is very hard and painful to watch felix go out on the mound pitch a beautiful through 8 innings maybe even more and still not get a win. if felix played for the yankees he would have 14 wins right now

Brad Miller is now on a 7 game hitting streak and is now over the Mendoza line.

Miller is now hitting .313 with 3 HRs and 8 RBIs in 20 June games. Nice to see him getting it together.

Well let's just hope that he continues to trend up instead of dropping, these young guys always get a stretch of good ball in them then piss it away with chasing balls they shouldn't be swinging at.....

I have way more hope that Miller will eventually be a useful everyday player than I have for Ackley and Smoak.

Smoak is going to make about $3.5 million next year if they decide to tender him a contract. Hopefully a new GM will be in place before they have to make that decision.
