I like how the justification for android is all the cool shit you could do because it is "unlocked" or something but very little of it has to do with using the piece of hardware. i don't have time to muck about with settings or configuring things or compiling shit. i've reached the point where I just want something to work.

yup, you can do all that same stuff android phones do or you can leave it simple and easy. android system doesn't have "simple"

I will say my next desktop probably won't be apple though. They're starting to get much more complicated than I would prefer with installing other operating systems.

I'm going to have to go straight Linux.

Has iOS 7 been out long enough to get all of the bugs worked out? I have been avoiding the big download but was wondering what you guys all thought. Should I do it now?

Only reason I use an iPhone is because one was issued to me through my company.

Otherwise I'd still be using my BlackBerry.

I used to have a Blackberry Storm. I don't know why but I still miss that thing. I modded it out as much as possible. I miss the little indicator light for missed messages or something. I don't know.

Really? It did mine at first but then with the next update it was fixed. I have no problems with battery life anymore.

i miss the blackberry curve but giving up the keyboard for all the other functions was an okay trade off...

I'm now on 7.1 on a 4S and it kills my battery pretty quick. 7.0.x never did that

I don't like the look - really wonder if Jobs would have approved, lol. The feature from the home screen is ok, though (swipe up from bottom, and it brings up options for basic functions - flashlight is the one I most often use). Haven't really had any battery problems. My contract ran out yesterday, and think I'm going to wait for the 6, to upgrade.

Andriod is garbage at best. I have had 4 phones that ran on Andriod and they all sucked. I have had 1 IPhone and it runs with ease and very rarely needs to be rebooted. To each your own.

Just got a Galaxy S5 yesterday. I like it so far.
