When nascar started jerking off the pitcrews in these things, I kind of tuned out. I get that pit crews are damn important to the success of the driver and they are a team. But give me a break. It's called "R A C I N G" nascar, stick to it. Let vegas worry about the shows.

I remember when it was a race and the big draw was the huge payout that caused everyone to go balls to the wall.

Which lead to the reason I will never ever have any respect for Kyle Petty as a race car driver. So damn glad he didn't win this race. Well, Pocono as well. Fuck you Kyle Petty.

As Richard Petty once stated: Everyone cheats. It's just a matter of who gets caught. Hendricks has a history of trying out "new" things in non-points paying events since testing dates and tracks are limited by usually NASCAR and Goodyear.

Disagree, it's a very exciting track and half the reason we have so many cookie cutter tracks now. The other half of that reason is Atlanta.

Both tracks have a history of very exciting events.

Because of all the cookie cutter tracks it makes it way less unique, but Charlotte still has a ton of unique character. The dip at the bottom of turn 1, the hump before entering turn 3, etc. And they often times make for great finishes because the outside lane can get a huge run off turn 4 heading into the tri-oval.

The all star race was always looked upon as a money event only for the guys long gone..... many of them always had and often said it was either "Checkers or Wreckers" These guys have wusses it down so bad.... just NASCAR sucking the fun out of a once great sport.
