Let's not lose perspective here, at the time that Theisman made his remarks, RGIII, was injured and KC was coming off of his fill-in role. He was not alone, there were many who agreed with him.

I wonder why anyone on the planet still worries about what Joey T thinks? He's never met any opinion that he didn't endorse.

The most amusing thing about boards such as this and social media in general is that everyone has an opinion, that IS NOT the funny part. The joke comes when people find themselves in disagreement with another's' opinion and find it necessary to dismiss it with the implication that the rest of the planet agrees with them!!!

Heh, while that may be true and all, I think you may have missed my point. Theisman himself is so all over the map on Redskins QBs, its impossible to follow. His opinions on the Skins QB's is so inconsistent its ridiculous.

In 2013 JT wash washing RGIII's balls about coming back and starting in week 1 of that season. The hero worship was palpable. It was clear JT thought RGIII was the franchise QB.

Then of course in preseason this year, JT says that Cousins should be starting over RGIII and that he would be starting if it was an open competition. He backtracked off that set of comments a couple days later when asked "Who gives this team the best chance to win". He answered, RGIII does. So in a few days he goes from saying KC should start, to RGIII should start. Maybe he got a call from Snyder reminding him what the company line really was?

Now this past week, when asked if Colt should stay the starter if he plays well, JT says flat out that RGIII is the Redskins franchise QB...

Bottom line is, JT says whatever is popular from minute to minute and his insight is hardly any better than any of ours.

Basically, the way JT thinks, Babe Laufenberg should have started over him at least a few years.

I don't understand why it matters. The person playing at the time is what is important and whether team wins or not. Right now there are three QBs in Washington and no one is sure if the team has a good QB for the future. It is important now to see if Griffin can be the guy or does the team need to look elsewhere.

I think it is critical that the Redskins find out what they have in Griffin. That means starting him every game he is healthy for the next year and a half. Any thought to starting Colt over a healthy Griff is idiotic.
