I posted this somewhere, I seem to remember months ago the school admins. saying if no classrooms no sports. Don't know if that has changed. Also, I don't think that online classes will be enough to have sports.
All the HSs around here are planning on having classes and playing HS football. This is all a great big wait and see.

That was 100% the rhetoric I heard. I specifically remember the A&M admin saying such and they weren't the only ones. Something along the lines of "A student can become educated through online instruction but they can't become an Aggie without coming to campus". I'll see if my Go-Ogle technomological skills are good enough to find it.

High schools with sports are a go around here. Classes start Sept 8. Since we are a 4-A school, volleyball has already played a game and football started practices Aug 3. Students can choose online, face to face or a combo. Career/technology courses require mostly face to face. Hard to teach a kid to weld remotely!

All that said, they just had three athletes test positive yesterday. We'll see what happens next.
