UNC and ND are both cancelling in person learning now. Clemson has eleventy billion positive tests. Is the league going to postpone? Can schools justify playing a cfb schedule after telling its students "its not even safe to be on campus"?

Perhaps Notre Dame will get their wizard dude to cast a magic healing spell or sumthing?

ND gives a shit about its students safety and well being all of a sudden? Someone needs to let Declan Sullivan in on this.

Probably not but all schools care about liability

They won't cancel, because they are smart enough to know that Spring Football is a red herring and isn't going to happen. If they don't play now, they aren't going to play at all. There is no liability, that is just buzzword to make people think something that isn't really a big problem is a big problem.

There is no reason to cancel Football over something that isn't a big deal to the athletes.

But the real decision maker is that if they justify killing football, they're going to have to kill basketball, too. And I guarantee that isn't happening.

Myocarditis

Before covid19, Myocarditis was rare and only caused 75 deaths per year in people age 13-25

COVID-19 Can Trigger Serious Heart Injuries

https://www.si.com/college/2020/08/09/ncaa-cardiac-inflamation-coronavirus-myocarditis-concerns

In 2017, 4,000,000 young people played football. 13 dies from football related injuries,

if people are so worried about concussions and their kids, they should be worried about Myocarditis and their kids.

Are COVID-19, Myocarditis connected to athletes an their hearts? | wkyc.com

Myocarditis is an after effect of covid19 in roughly 10% of people.

before, we had 200 cases a year of myocarditis. Now, if 10% holds true, there will be roughly 500,000 new cases this year, and the year ain't over.

If I get covid19 I would be worried about my heart.

of course, all this data could be completely wrong.

Hopefully not until after we curbstomp UVA and take back the cup in Week 2.
The Cup is in its rightful place and am hoping it stays there for a long time to come.

VT is 21-4 over the last 25 years. It was a fluke that only happened because yall got lucky as shit.

It'll be back in Blacksburg in a month.

We should’ve had it for an extra year but our idiot of an offensive coordinator went stupid during the last five minutes of the game instead of putting the dagger in you and cost us the game.
